Albert Hoffman, LSD Inventor, Dies

Yeah, it’s true. Not that it matters a whole lot, but the guy who invented the mind bending LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) died today at the ripe old age of 102. The greatest thing about this guy is he’s English, so picturing him frying for the first time is quite the picture, and in the 60’s he pushed to use acid for medical purposes: “He argued for decades that LSD could help treat mental illness.”

Good stuff. What would we have done without this guy’s discovery?
